This is our full programme of weekend walks for Summer 2011

This includes our light 'n leisurely walks, our Special Interest walks and other events so there should be something for everyone,
but if not, then let us know and we'll see what we can do.

The posh side of Newport (not my side at all!),
and a bit of culture with a castle.

Vivid views over various valleys
on the pretty side of Llanbradach.

A Church, a Hill and a Valley (not necessarily in that order)
but all in a very beautiful setting.

Fascinating locks which need a very big key
plus some reservoirs, big dams and little bridges.

That's East Cliff, West Cliff
and the bit in the middle cliff

Got your shopping list ready? as it's up one aisle,
down the other and twice round the frozen foods.

Some lovely old woodlands, all in leaf,
and gnarled and twisted just like me!

Only just down the road from Bettws Oldydd
and you've got Chain Bridge and the Usk to look at.

There you go, right behind the old one - another new year!
and we're imaginatively calling this one '2012', not something unusual like 'Fred'.

We went here last year and there's some great views.
You can play Romans and Britons in the fort, too!

And if yesterday's was too gentle - try this for size!
5 times up and down - then 10 times round the base - not really...

An interesting mix of moorland and woodland
plus an ancient chapel and a touch of old industry.
