Thursday 1^st

Medart Forest

Moderate climb through forest to lower forest road and on to Pegwn y Bwlch,
then down towards the Darren before returning to the start via the canal bank.
Leave Blackvein Road at 6:30 p.m.

Blackvein

Walk on the forest road up to Waunfawr Cottage, heading towards Full Moon. Then a stroll by the side of the River Sirhowy to Wattsville, returning the other side of the river and through Waunfawr Park to the start.
Leave Blackvein Road at 6:30 p.m.

Cwmcarn Forest

Leisurely start then moderate climb through forest to reach common land with superb views including Steep & Flat Holme.
Leave lower car park Cwmcarn at 6:30 p.m.

Mynydd Islwyn

Moderate climb through forest to Mynydd Islwyn.
Leave car park at West End Abercarn at 6:30 p.m.

Gwyddon

Leisurely start down to valley bottom, meandering climb to the heart of the valley before returning gently to the start.
Leave Gwyddon car park at 6:30 p.m.
